This 18th century chair with rush seat looks simple at first glance. On closer inspection, though, the gracefully curved arms, supports, and rails demonstrate the work of a skilled craftsman with an eye for detail. The chair is beautiful in its design and is quite comfortable, also. It is structurally very sound and would be well-used in a quiet nook
